3 years ago when I started I was overweight, under strength and unfocused. Immediately when I started with Pro-Fit Personal Training I was then blown away by the dedication and intelligence of their approach. I got results quickly and most importantly those results were permanent, losing fat round my weight, losing bodyfat and packing on muscle. Crucially Pro-Fit really do educate and mentor you in nutritional approach, personal development and goal setting changing your body ‘and’ mind. I am so much happier in my life and I have had the confidence to go and join a women’s football team. Training with Pro-Fit is different. We didn’t just look at what training I needed to do but also my diet lifestyle and motivations. My first session was spent looking at my goals, amazingly being someone from a sales background I couldn’t believe I had previously not set any short/long term goals. My trainer set with me a food diary and training plan and we started to record my sessions, progress and weight loss over the coming weeks. I very quickly started to enjoy the gym again and concentrated on what I wanted to achieve. I feel amazingly fit and healthy.

I've been with Pro-Fit for over two years now and its flown past. To me, Pro-Fit, has been something bigger than a simple Personal Training. You become part of a community. You meet new people and have access to other parts of the company. I have a Personal Training, a physio, a life coach and a nutritionist. Having all these things under one roof has been very good for me. All the trainers are very friendly, motivated and best of all, achieve results! When I joined Pro-Fit I was overweight and I had lots of aches and pains. I thought I already knew about training and nutrition from my previous experience, but I went in with an open mind as I'd never really achieved the results I'd wanted. Pro-Fit's approach was different to anything I'd experienced before, especially around nutrition. But I tell you what, it really works. I have been training with Pro-Fit for 6 months. A programme was designed based around my targets of weight loss and muscle definition. Significantly my trainer was also concerned about my posture and balanced strength. As such he took measurements and photographs at the start of the training period and identified my areas of specific weakness. We’ve started to identify what and when I eat and my training has been progressed regularly to bring about the changes needed. It’s a partnership that has brought tremendous results in a relatively short period of time. Pro-Fit has given me better shape and muscle definition than I could possibly have hoped for.

I like value for money and the 8 week Pro-Fit 'How to look Good Naked' course gives just that. I found it well presented by a company genuinely keen to share their knowledge and expertise. The nutritional talks were enlightening, the circuit style exercise programme, fun and effective. There were lots of supportive emails along the way, both from Pro-Fit and amongst our group. This well rounded programme has helped me take back control of my eating habits and succeed in comfortably getting into my 'goal' clothes - happy days :-)

The group training sessions are focused, effective and (I never though I would say this) fun! The encouragement of the trainer and the rest of the group helps you train harder and better than you would on your own and over the weeks, the results have been noticeable both visually and in terms of fitness levels. In combination with the diet & nutritional guidance, in 6 weeks I have lost weight, but built up more muscle, stamina and general fitness. I’m 40 next month and I expect to hit it in better shape than I hit 30!

I would like to thank you for organising the 'Tribal Training' sessions, and I'm so glad I signed up to the 8 week course! After going to the gym for '8 years' and training at least 3 times a week, I had slowly changed shape, but not all of it in the right places! Now, I've lost unwanted body weight, my waist has been reduced, my energy levels have shot up, I'm also visibly leaner and I can actually see signs of a six pack! I have tried every magazine diet around and while I lost weight initially, I always regained it - and more on top. The Look great Naked program is different. Instead of feeling like I’m starving myself I am now eating 4-5 times per day and more than ever before. The program is inspiring, and I love the daily motivational emails and tasks. Over the last 15 years I have tried every diet going and my weight has yo-yoed dramatically. Although I have had periods of training and eating well, I have had far longer periods of drinking too much, eating junk food and smoking like a chimney. I have been training with Pro-Fit since April 2005, initially to lose my baby weight which I achieved rapidly. I have since completed 2 half marathons and numerous 10K races. In addition I also completed Winter Tough Guy. I trained for this with the Pro-Fit Team by building strength in the gym, running weekly on The Edge and completing two weekends in Wales and the Lake District, involving abseiling, gauge walking, climbing Snowdon, bootcamps and orienteering. The great thing about Pro-Fit is that you are treated as a complete individual, you set your own goals and work at your own pace. It’s not just about fitness. Your confidence and mental health and your nutrition are all equally important in achieving a healthy lifestyle and reaching your goals. I have never been so motivated or committed to my health and well being before. I can’t imagine what the next few years has in store but I know I wouldn’t have been doing any of it without Pro-Fit.

I had suffered crippling back and neck pain for years before coming to Pro-Fit. I often slept on the floor in an attempt to manage the pain. I had been to see specialist after specialist without success and was beginning to think that this was something I would have to put up with for life. As you can see from my photos I had a large leg length difference and had been operated on during my teens, but there was still a significant difference. After just 10 weeks of rehab my pain levels had gone and remain so 6 months on. I can now get a good nights sleep (in my bed) and I’m able to play a round of golf pain free for the first time in years.

I was involved in a serious road traffic accident some 2 or more years ago and have been under Pro-fit's care for the last 12 months. Initially as a physiotherapy client and then as a personal training and physiotherapy client. So far, I have achieved excellent results. Within 4 weeks of training I was moving and feeling better. 6 weeks later I was attending regular bootcamps and running 5km races, something I never thought possible again since my accident. All trainers I have worked with at Pro-Fit have a real passion for their profession and really want to help you achieve real results. For me the best thing has been having a trainer who has a great knowledge of rehabilitation as I knew I would not be asked to do any exercises which would aggravate my injuries and I have made excellent progress as a result.

I first came to Pro-Fit looking to improve my posture and strength as I am a keen horse-rider. From the beginning I was really impressed with the process. After a thorough assessment I was given a report highlighting all my imbalances a long with a plan to correct them. This included corrective exercises, a strengthening programme and a nutrition plan. In 12 weeks I lost 10lbs, 5% bodyfat and I can now ride for longer and faster than I have in the last 10 years

I was on the verge of leaving the gym after I had tried everything to loose weight but just kept grinding to a holt. I was also a type 2 diabetic and my health was getting worse. The day I met my Pro-Fit trainer was going to be my last and I was going to give up altogether. Within weeks of working with Pro-Fit I was starting to see the results I had longed for and in no time at all I had dropped much of the weight I had been dying to lose for years. Now 6 months down the line I am lighter and completely off my diabetes medication. I now have bigger and more challenging goals that I had never dreamed of doing until I started with Pro-Fit

I came to Pro-Fit with a knee injury and wasn’t sure whether I would be able to run again. Within two months my knee was getting much stronger. I also lost weight and as a result my self-confidence grew and I was definitely less stressed in work. The nutrition advice has made a massive difference. Being part of what feels like an Pro-Fit community is great too, with things like the Snowden weekend and the 5k handicap run. Then it went to the next level – I entered for Men’s Health Survival of the Fittest and finished 56th in Hell runner (12 miles through Delamere Forest). I’ve just competed in the Fearless off-road Duathlon and came 13th! None of which I’d be doing with that extra weight and a dodgy knee or without Pro-Fit!

I started 2 stone overweight wanting to be able to run with my daughter. I couldn't even run a mile. My first goal was to complete a 5k run for life which I achieved in just 3 months. From then I set out to complete a half marathon which I completed 12 months later and I'm now even lighter. My next goal was to complete the 5 masters marathons New York, Chicago , London , Berlin and Boston , the final one I completed in April 2011. I have also completed a 100 mile bike ride, a duathlon and triathlon.

I first came to Pro-Fit looking to lose half a stone and get a bit fitter. I never would have guessed it would completely change my life. I achieved both these 2 goals in the first month of training. However, I didn’t stop there! With the help and support of all the team at Pro-Fit, I have since completed many 5km and 10km races, 2 half marathon’s, 3 tough guy’s, climbed Snowdon more times than I can remember and now compete for Great Britain at Triathlon. None of this would have been possible without the support of my trainer, but more than this, the community spirit that is created as being part of Pro-Fit Personal Training.
